Let me start by saying my family has been on a zero (or close to it) spending budget for non-essentials since about January. We almost never eat out anymore. I can’t remember the last time I bought clothes (wait, it was 2 weeks ago. bought a $3 shirt at the thrift shop. that’s close to $0.) Fun crafty stuff? Forget about it.
So, I’m not bragging about what I bought. I’m just so freakin’ excited that these goodies are coming to live at my house. For me. To play with. I’ve called my poor husband into my studio to look on-line at this Japanese Washi Paper Masking Tape like 5 times over the last several months because the colors and possibilities make my heart sing. Wednesday night he says, “You know, that’s something I’d buy you for your birthday, but I don’t know where to buy it or which colors to choose.” Done deal. Just a few clicks in this Esty shop and they’re hopping on an airplane from Korea to live in their new home. (You can also buy some here.) And make sure to check out this website for masking tape eye candy (eye candy cause all the writing is in Japanese).

Multi width stipes

So many pretty colors!
And because my mom usually sends me some $$ for my birthday, I bought this. (thanks mom!!)

Oh! The possibilities!
The fun I’m going to have with all that tape and the stamper + this little notebook I received for Mother’s Day (it’s the only thing I asked for). I’m going to make the cover cute. Still pondering on that.
My birthday isn’t for another month, so the timing will be perfect since it takes a few weeks for the tape and stamper to get here. Do you hear the silence? That’s me holding my breath.
