It’s been almost a year since I started Whisker Graphics. When I first started I was overwhelmed with decisions. What paper should I use? What will I do when there are no more Gocco supplies? (I started out doing only Gocco.) What should my company “look” look like? And on and on. I had no idea how to make a banner for my etsy shop, so I bought one from a seller on etsy and that was my “look”. As time passed, not only did I become more computer literate so I could create my own banner/ads, but I realized I wanted a cleaner, fresher identity. A couple of months ago I “branded” all my business faces (blog, etsy, packaging, etc.). And today I received my new business cards. I ordered them from Vista Print. I was a little nervous about what was going to show up on my doorstep. Would I like the paper? Would the colors turn out how I envisioned them? Would I like how they looked? Well, a resounding YES to all those questions. I LOVE THESE GUYS! The paper is uncoated so there’s no slick feel and it’s a nice, bright white and thick (I paid extra for the thicker paper. Totally worth it).
I loved the Gocco-ed one, but it took too long to make. #2 was ok, but the paper had a sheen to it and the blue came out a completely different color than what I was expecting.
The new card is just right. Thanks goodness I love it because I now have 1,500 of them! My grand total for them was $51.63. That included 2-sided printing, 100lb paper stock, 2 uploads and the slowest shipping possible (I had to wait almost 3 weeks to get them). They might come in handy on Saturday at Maker Faire for making new friends.

LOOOOOOOOOOVE THEM. Great job… they are awesome!
Gorgeous! I love the detail of the grass! Good job!
I just wanted to send a big “thank you” for all you kind words about my new blog Love.Obsess.Inspire.
I was looking over you resent posts and am obsessed with your new business card. Clean design, beautiful color palette, and all-around fun concept! Great job!
Oh, a wonderful article! I have no clue how you managed to write this post..it’d take me weeks. Well worth it though, I’d assume. Have you considered selling ads on your website?
