Clever Layered Invitation Design

September 23rd, 2009 § 3

My husband handled the printing for this EXTREMELY clever benefit invitation for the Danville Children’s Guild. I thought this was a great use of one-color printing. The pieces were delivered to the client cut and scored for folding and they hand assembled and glued everything themselves (cost saving measure). Wouldn’t this be a great idea for a wedding invitation? The couple could have their monogram on the front and all the different bits of information on each of the layers (invite, map, poem, story about them, rsvp, etc).
