Lifetime Supply of Wrapping Paper

I’ve been researching packaging for shipping the Divine bakers Twine. While doing so I perused ULINE and ended up buying  ginormous rolls of paper. One is 24″ white butcher paper ($45) and the other 24″ light brown kraft paper ($24). I plan on using them for wrapping gifts and with 1,100′ of one and 900′ of the other I think they will last me the rest of my life! I’m a little disappointed that the butcher paper is not thick enough to be opaque. You can still see what you’ve wrapped through the paper. But, it will look pretty if I wrap the gift first in colored tissue paper. I love using plain paper for gift wrap. It’s so versatile. You can draw/color on it (great for kids to decorate for their friend’s birthday gifts), decorate with stickers/labels, tie with fancy ribbon or not-so-fancy ribbon/twine or wrap a band of contrast paper around it. Endless possibilities!

There are some other goodies at ULINE.
* Pretty colored shipping tags in various sizes
* These circle labels or these colored circle labels - good for crafts or wrapping gifts
* Wear one of these labels when you’re having a hormonal off day
* Packaging for food, gifts, mailing
* Glue Dots for crafting (wonder if they’d come in handy to secure breakables in earthquake prone areas??)

Is the kraft paper pretty opaque? That’s sad that the white isn’t :( I was planning to buy both!

Holy good gracious wow! That is generally how I like to wrap my gifts – plain simple paper with a fantastic ribbon or pretty effect…. It’ll look fabulous with your twine, dear!

I bought the 40lb kraft and it is opaque! I’ve discovered it you do 2-ply colored tissue paper and 2-ply of the butcher paper, it’s opaque. A bit of work to be sure, but the gift recipient will have fun opening the gift!

what a thing of beauty. I just love having enough so I know I’ll never run out. It’s too bad the white isn’t totally opaque. thanks for the tip about Uline.
