I am forever trying to think up new ideas for the bakers twine. Here’s one I came up with for our holiday card this year. I was inspired by the sewing/lacing cards I played with as a kid.
I punched all the holes with this.
Label reads: part craft ~ part puzzle ~ all holiday cheer. I gave a url with a photo of the photo below.

I got mine! So fun… I loved it!
Awesome, awesome, awesome!! Brilliant idea!
I got mine too! Love the card and this color of divine twine for the holidays! Now we’ll see if I can manage to get my cards out before the end of the week
such a great idea Whitney!
i have red/white twine, it’s the best investment i’ve made! i use it all the time, and i just LOVE your christmas card, what an imaginative idea!
Delightful!! That also gives me gift-wrapping ideas….
PS: New job has a Xyron and I squealed a little bit. When I told the boss about your daughter’s ingenuity with the crepe paper, he squealed a little bit. It was a good day.
So adorable. You come up with the cutest ideas.
This is so lovely! Great idea. I am just about to move soon and am looking forward to settling so I can order some!
LOVE this. Maybe I’ll attempt this for next year’s Christmas cards.
I love this! My girls would love to receive a card like this! I’m finally catching up on blog reading after three months of focusing on Christmas card design, and this was a worth the wait!
Happy 2011!
