Baker’s Twine Spice Jar

September 15th, 2011 § 3

Hi friends!  Today I have a fun project to show you from design team member Lauren Donaldson.  Lauren shows how you can dress up a vintage jar to create a lovely vase.    These are simple enough to make a few at a time and you can use whichever Divine Twine color that matches your decor.  You can also make a few in several different colors as a fun display.  The small size of these jars would be perfect for displaying the flowers that your little ones pick for you since the stems are usually pretty short.  I call these little guys my “mommy vases” since they are usually for the flowers my kids pick from the yard.

Materials List:
- Divine Twine in any color
- hot glue
- vintage glass spice jar

Very sweet. I have reels and reels of Bakers’ Twine (having gone mad for it and then realising that I wasn’t wrapping as many presents as I thought I was). This would be a great project to do with my girls. Thanks! x
