Bitty Bag Pencils

February 20th, 2012 § 3

Hi friends!  I hope you had a lovely long weekend!  Today, I have a fun post to share with you from design team member Lauren Donaldson.  Lauren made these festive pencils using of our Bitty Bags.  These would be a great addition to any party, a fabulous way to display pens/pencils at a store, or a cute small gift or party favor.

Here’s a bit about this project from Lauren:

Materials needed:
- vertical stripe bitty bags in yellow, orange, and red
- pencils
- Modge Podge
- sponge brush
- scissors

I cut the bitty bags down into 2" strips, used scissors to fringe the top,
and then brushed modge podge on the back. Wrap the bitty bags around the
pencil and the modge podge holds it in place. Once wrapped up, I coated the
entire pencil with a bit more modge podge to act as a sealant. Let dry and
use. Pretty simple actually. I made them in a matter of minutes (a lot
easier than I thought even). This is a fun way to spice up boring yellow
pencils. They would also make great gifts for goodie bags.
