Autumn Treat Bag

It’s time once again for another step by step instructional using some awesome Whisker Graphics product! I’m so excited to share with you my version of an Autumn Treat Bag!
Let’s begin!

Here are the supplies that you will need:

Designer Paper or Designer Cardstock (optional solid colors)
Scissors
Liquid Glue
Large Glassine Bag
Twine (coordinate with your papers)
Circle Tag
Embellishments
Tag Toppers and decorations (I used my Silhouette Portrait to cut the Topper)
Embossing Folder
Embossing Machine (I used my Big Shot)

Step 1:
Grab your embossing machine, glassine bag, and folder. Normally, you would take your embossing folder and lay it on your project in a portrait fashion. Not this time! Slide your folder onto the bag in a landscape fashion (bottom of bag), and roll it through your machine. Take it out, slide the folder up onto the bag where there are still blank spaces and roll it through your machine again. Lay this aside.

Step 2:
Grab your toppers. You can buy these pre-made, or follow a YouTube video, Pinterest, or other tutorials on how to make these. As I stated earlier, I made mine using my Silhouette.

Step 3:
Now take your pieces and glue them together. You should have 1 piece that will have a handle to it, as shown in my picture. This will fold over front to back. The other 2 pieces layer on top of the folded piece.

Step 4:
Here you see how the 3 pieces are put together.

Step 5 AND Step 6:
Add your goodies into the bag. Now take your completed topper and tape it onto the opened side of your glassine bag. You can choose to fold over the opened top of the bag a few times, or just once. The choice is yours; it also it depends on how much goodies you’re putting in there! 😊

Step 7:
Now take your twine and cut the length you need to go into the hole of the circle tag. Then tie this onto the handle of your bag. And you’re finished! So easy and fun to do! And children and adults both will love opening up a treat bag, any time of the year!

Here is the finished product: (I decided I’d make 2 since they were so quick & easy)

Drum roll…..
