Love Note

February 16th, 2016 § 0 comments § permalink

Even though Valentine’s Day is over, you can still send love notes.  Let them know the love continues all year round, slipping a special little note in a heart doily envelope, for your child’s lunch or leave it on your sweetie’s pillow. Dawn cut cardstock down to business card size and wrote a note on one side, folded a 6″ paper heart doily around it, and sealed with a Love Mail Petite Sticky.

For an extra special touch, you can insert them in any of our Little Bitty Bags!

Be My Valentine’s

February 2nd, 2016 § 0 comments § permalink

We have a very special Whisker Graphics Design Team member this week!  Shirley K. assisted her daughter, Evelyn, in making goodie bags with Whisker Graphics Pink and Navy Horizontal Middy Bitty Bags for her class Valentine’s party.

Evelyn decided on the Pink middy bitty bags for the girls in her class (along with My Little Pony Valentines) and the Navy middy bitty bags for the boys in her class (along with Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Valentines).

With some help from Mom, she used the bitty bags to hold the Valentine card, a bouncy ball, an eraser, and will add a couple of pieces of candy before they are delivered. On the outside, they used foam heart stickers to decorate the bitty bag…keeping it simple since they made one for each member of her class (ALL 24 of them!).

What a fun and creative way to dress up that Valentine!

A Golden Valentine’s Day

January 26th, 2016 § 0 comments § permalink

This week, Joanna, came up with a beautiful GOLDEN vintage Valentine’s gift voucher. She used one of brown kraft gold metallic Middy Bitty Bag and add few paper doilies (doily, heart and love) which she cut from crafts and gold paper. She added a few leaves and hand made flowers (made from another middy bag) and finished off with a covering with gold mist.

The tag, which you hide inside of the bag, can convey your Valentine’s wish to your sweetheart.

The final touch is some Divine Twine Gold Metallic to wrap it and to add small heart.  You can also use the Middy Bitty bag as packaging for your Valentine’s gift!

Are you having a Superbowl Party?

January 19th, 2016 § 0 comments § permalink

If you are getting ready to cheer on your favorite team in the Super Bowl, Dawn, our Design Team member from Not Just A Mommy, shares a couple of oh-so-easy football themed craft ideas.  The first is a referee shirt banner made from black horizontal stripe Middy Bitty Bags.  With the shirt template (available on her blog), trace along the long edge of the bag, then cut out.  The folded edge will drape nicely over your twine and not slide, no need for fasteners.

The second craft is creating footballs from circle punches, filling Kraft Brown Bags with your favorite snacks, then tying the footballs onto the bags with Palos Verdes Diva Solid Divine Twine.  Be sure and slip a Middy Glassine bag inside the kraft bag to prevent grease spots.
