WG Designer, Amy Tsuruta, is doing a blog hop this month about all things coffee. Her project is a card made from Whisker Graphics products – yay! She uses our super popular white on Brown Kraft Chevron Middy Bag as her “envelope.” A Pink Colored Tag tied up with Solid Black Divine Twine frames her sentiment. We just love the simple contrasting colors!

Tea Time Bitty Card

April 9th, 2015 § 6 comments § permalink

Here’s a thoughtful card by Design Team member, Amy Tsuruta. She starts with a Black Diagonal Stripe Bitty Bag. To soften the stripes, she layers it with a vellum panel stitched with gold thread. It ties in beautifully with the Divine Twine looped through the pink colored tag. Take a close look at the twine. It’s one of our newest colors–Rose Gold! It is truly fabulous and will be available in the shop this month! (We are thrilled to introduce this color along with our new Diva Collection. Stay tuned for more on that!) We love Amy’s creativity and invite you to check out her blog to see more on this and other custom cards. Enjoy!

Bitty Bag Raffle Board

March 5th, 2015 § 0 comments § permalink

Today’s post is by Kerstie Pederson. She had a fun project to do for her child’s school auction and our Little Bitty Bags in black and gold were the perfect fit!  She created a Gift Card Board where raffle winners pick their prizes. This could also be used at a birthday party where the children pick numbers 1 through 15 and get to pick their goody bag of choice — of course, the dollar amounts would not need to be listed : ) Strung with Divine Twine, it’s a simple yet sensational display. Switch out the colors using our extensive color palettes and design options to customize your board!

Here’s a close-up. Love those glittery mini clothes pins!  What a dazzling touch!

Bitty Bag of Love

January 28th, 2015 § 2 comments § permalink

Guest Designer, Vanessa Spencer, is back this month with a bitty bag o’ love! She chooses our very popular, Gold Horizontal Stripe Middy as her base then free-hand paints her sentiment with black acrylic paint. (If you’re not confident with your paint brush cursive, you could lightly write in pencil and trace over it. We won’t tell!) Fill each bag with the treat of your choice then sew the top shut using a straight stitch and black thread. Or, hand stitch using a wide eyed needle and Solid Black Divine Twine. For a pop of color, tie each package with Solid Pink Divine Twine. Although perfect for Valentine’s Day, these would also work nicely as bridal shower or wedding favors, too!

Clever Cards and Envelopes

April 4th, 2014 § 1 comment § permalink

Happy Friday everyone! This week’s guest designer is Shirley Karnos. She has created some fabulous cards that can be used for many occasions. I loved them all so I had to post all three!

Congrats Card

This crafty card showcases our Petite Stickys, both the Chick and Polka Dot. The chick sticker is suspended with some Divine Twine in the middle of the punched out circle. She used Solid Yellow but you could choose any one of our 37 shades. Change the sentiment and this same card becomes a Birthday, Thank You or Just Thinking about You card. Oh the possibilities…

Birthday Card

Shirley uses  the cupcake from the front page of our Simple Joys Calendar for this playful card. The Solid Blue Divine Twine sewn around the edges frames the artwork beautifully and a Glassine Bag makes the perfect envelope. The receiver gets a sneak peek before opening!

Little Bird Told Me Card and Envelope

You could call this a card or stationery – either way, call it cute! Again, Shirley uses her fun flair to craft an envelope from a Bitty Bag.  Having brown kraft as the canvass really makes the colors pop!
