Divine Twine Dreamcatcher

This week, Shirley created a beautiful Dreamcatcher with Whisker Graphics’ Gold Metallic Twine!

She found a simple step-by-step tutorial on Pinterest (just search ‘dreamcatcher tutorial’).

With some Divine Twine Gold Metallic, an embroidery hoop, feathers and wooden beads she out did herself with this one-of-a-kind and unique project.  She also made a couple of tassels (of course, out of Divine Twine) to hang from the bottom along with the feathers.

A Golden Valentine’s Day

January 26th, 2016 § 0 comments § permalink

This week, Joanna, came up with a beautiful GOLDEN vintage Valentine’s gift voucher. She used one of brown kraft gold metallic Middy Bitty Bag and add few paper doilies (doily, heart and love) which she cut from crafts and gold paper. She added a few leaves and hand made flowers (made from another middy bag) and finished off with a covering with gold mist.

The tag, which you hide inside of the bag, can convey your Valentine’s wish to your sweetheart.

The final touch is some Divine Twine Gold Metallic to wrap it and to add small heart.  You can also use the Middy Bitty bag as packaging for your Valentine’s gift!

Are you having a Superbowl Party?

January 19th, 2016 § 0 comments § permalink

If you are getting ready to cheer on your favorite team in the Super Bowl, Dawn, our Design Team member from Not Just A Mommy, shares a couple of oh-so-easy football themed craft ideas.  The first is a referee shirt banner made from black horizontal stripe Middy Bitty Bags.  With the shirt template (available on her blog), trace along the long edge of the bag, then cut out.  The folded edge will drape nicely over your twine and not slide, no need for fasteners.

The second craft is creating footballs from circle punches, filling Kraft Brown Bags with your favorite snacks, then tying the footballs onto the bags with Palos Verdes Diva Solid Divine Twine.  Be sure and slip a Middy Glassine bag inside the kraft bag to prevent grease spots.

Divine Twine = Bracelet = Friendship

January 7th, 2016 § 0 comments § permalink

This week from one of our International Design Team Members, Tatiana, a simple jewelry craft project perfect for that someone special (or just for yourself!)  She choose to use our Rose Gold Metallic Divine Twine and the Rose Vintage Gold Metallic Divine Twine to make hand crochet Friendship bracelets.

She added a special Angel Lucky Charm bracelet with little knots to give an extra touch.

These bracelets are tied up with a bow or a knot – it’s a personal preference – and it’s a great option for a Valentine’s Day gift.

An easy way to stand out using our Metallic Divine Twines and shine all day long!

Check out Tatiana @ her blog Luxo de Papel where she has as a video or a step by step photos to make this project.

Candles, candles everywhere! ‘Tis the season for lighting up the house with the soft glow of candles. Grab a brandy snifter, small golden ornaments, Metallic Gold Divine Twine and other embelishments from your holiday decor box, and you have yourself a candle holder. Choose a glass that perfectly fits a standard votive and these little lovelies could be at each place setting at your holiday table. Save to reuse next year or send home with your guests. Or, use a pillar candle in a larger globe for a fast and festive centerpiece. Of course, you could switch out the gold for any color that suits you — green, red, silver or blue!
