Airmail Baker’s Twine Banner ~ Customer Share

June 13th, 2011 § 3 comments § permalink

Belinda, the creative mind behind Max, Toto and Busy B and one of our wonderful customers, emailed to share some projects she made with Airmail Divine Twine. Though she made several projects (see her etsy shop) our favorite is this sweet wedding banner. Well done, Belinda and thanks for sharing!

First calligraphy attempts

First calligraphy attempts

I bought myself a treat.

A calligraphy set.

I bought this one from Emilie Friday’s etsy shop because the ever-in-the-know Miss B at Le Blahg raved about it. She was spot on to rave.

Last night I finally played with it. It’s fun! I had an idea in my mind of what I wanted the letters to look like. Let’s just say, my practice sheets shown above are not quite what I envisioned. It’s harder than it looks! Hoping to incorporate some pretty swirly-ness into future designs. We’ll see…

A Letter from the Tooth Fairy

February 21st, 2010 § 3 comments § permalink

I recently received an email from a customer who bought this.

After seeing this with her children.

And this is the email I received from her
I took my 2 children to see The Tooth Fairy at the last local drive-in in our city recently and we all had such a laugh.  I can’t wait to see the expressions on their faces when they receive one of these.  I might also include a white wing feather as an added surprise!

So clever. I love the idea of randomly sending a note to kids from the Tooth Fairy.

Tooth Fairy Letter Writing Kit is available in my etsy shop.

Shameless Plug + Deal

November 11th, 2009 § 0 comments § permalink

I’ve been so busy getting everything ready for the Divine Twine debut I haven’t put anything new in my etsy shop for a while. In the last few days two people contacted me requesting the 3in Scroll Border Editable PDF in red (do I smell holiday gift tags?) so I thought others might have a want for them too. I added them to the shop this morning. You can input whatever text you like in them. So handy.

Paper Ornaments Craft ~ It’s a Cool Thing

October 15th, 2009 § 7 comments § permalink

Came across this fabulous idea on The Creative Place blog. Cute paper lanterns or ornaments or garland or gift wrap accessory or earrings (just kidding).  I’m dying to make some of these guys. Click here to check out Ashley’s great tutorial.

Ashley also has a couple of lovely etsy shops you can visit here and here.

Chandelier Printables

September 24th, 2009 § 2 comments § permalink

Just added some 3″ square editable printable pdfs to the shop. The chandeliers were a request from a customer.  I couldn’t decide if I liked one chandelier per tag or more, so I did both.

The Whisker Graphics 2010 Calendar

September 19th, 2009 § 5 comments § permalink

Last year I designed a 2009 calendar and by the time I had worked out all the design and production details it was too late in the year to sell it. You live, you learn. This year I’ve started much earlier and the Whisker Graphics 2010 Calendar is now available in my etsy shop in the Seasonal section.

It measures 5″x5″ and is printed on nice and thick 110 lb card stock. It comes pre-drilled to easily hang with the silk ribbon I’m including. I did a small run 100 for this year. For a limited time, I’m offering a 25% discount for those early holiday shoppers out there.

Now if only I was this ahead of the game getting MY holiday shopping done!

Where Am I?
