Divine Twine Pom-Pom Pens

September 10th, 2015 § 2 comments § permalink

Project 2I think we all can relate. Pens seem to walk away. I’m not judging; we’ve all done it. You borrow a pen, or sign a paper and before you know it the pen is innocently still in your hand once you’ve left its owner. Here’s a simple solution, by one of our new and creative WG Designers, Vicki Dutcher. She has cleverly personalized her pens with Divine Twine. You can tell the colors are from our new line of Divine Twine Bamboo. Look closely and you’ll see the beautiful luster! Each pen is carefully wrapped then capped with a homemade pom-pom. To add to the wow-factor, Vicki uses the same shades to wrap the pen holder. Love the fresh, clean look! This set would complement an office or be a great gift for a favorite teacher or pen-losing friend. Check out Vicki’s blog to learn more about her and her pom-pom pen set at All I Do Is Stamp.

Design Team member, Heather Pulvirenti, uses a s technique that is both simple and stylish to show off her Valentine’s present. Using a heart shaped die cut she makes a Peek-a-Boo window in one of our trendy Honeycomb Bitty Bags. A piece of acetate affixed to the inside along with a sheet of gray card stock keeps the gift tucked safely inside and gives the receiver a sneak peek at the contents. The Peppermint Divine Twine is the perfect finishing touch! Of course you could mix up the bag design or twine color to fit the occasion and the recipient. Here’s a little something to keep you warm on those chilly days of winter. Design Team member, Savanah O’Gwynn, uses cozy fleece and Divine Twine to create a lovely scarf. And she promises, it is VERY easy to make! The holes in the fleece are cut about 1/4 of an inch apart and the strands are about 36 inches long. She uses 2 strands of Coral and 1 strand of Metallic Gold for each loop, but feel free to choose any of our 38 colors of twine. Fold the strands in half and loop them through the holes. When all twine is looped and hooked, just trim the edges to the length you like and Voila!
