Hi friends!  Today, I have a gorgeous project from design team member Rachel McAffee to share with you.  Rachel made the most earthy yet elegant gift bags for her friends who are getting married.  This is such a lovely idea for a rustic wedding!  She flicked a little paint on a couple Shield Kraft Middy Bitty bags and then paired them with some Silver Metallic Divine Twine.  The earthy kraft and the elegant silver makes such a wonderful balance on this project!  These bags would be a stunner at any outdoor function!

Hi friends!  Today, I have a fun project from design team member Marianne Songbird to share with you.  Marianne repurposed an old box into a lovely gift.  Bitty Bags are the perfect item to use on food gifts because they are made of food safe materials.  Marianne used all different patterns for her box for added fun and whimsy.  After eating the chocolates, the box can be used to store jewelry or other small trinkets.  This is such a great way to give new life to items you find at the thrift store or around your home.

Painted Bitty Bag Favors

Hi friends!  Today, I have a delightful project from design team member Landee Anderson to share with you.  Landee made these favor bags for a party that have each of the guest’s initials on them.  She masked off the initial and painted over it then peeled the vinyl off.  The paint gives this project so much dimension and each person is going to feel so special that their bag will have their initial.  You could also use this technique to add the birthday girl/boy’s initial to the bags or a monogram or even numbers for a big birthday or a special anniversary.  Landee even has a free printable on her blog for you if you’d like to recreate these bags!

Flower Bitty Bag Envelope

June 16th, 2014 § 1 comment § permalink

Hi friends!  Today, I have a project from design team member Amy Tsuruta to share with you.  Amy decided to embellish a White Horizontal Stripe Middy Bitty Bag with a big beautiful flower and use it as an envelope to give a card and goodies to a friend.  This is a gorgeous way to present someone with a nice gift and perk up their day.  Because Bitty Bags have more room than traditional envelopes, you can add some treats, a gift card, or a small gift without having to wrap it separately.  When you add a large embellishment to the front of the bag, you add to the “wow factor.” WG striped bloom

Father’s Day Bitty Bag

Hi friends!  Today, I have a fun project from design team member Savannah O’Gwynn to share with you.  Savannah made this cute Father’s Day card and packaged it in one of our Bitty Bags.  Savannah thought of the super fun idea of using Post It note tape to close the Bitty Bag shut.  She stamped on the tape to customize it and make it match the card.  This is such a clever way to personalize something while using such a functional product!  The recipient could reuse the bag if they wanted to or if you added some candy or a snack inside they could reseal it.  The Solid Divine Twine is a fabulous pop of color and the fun knot makes it masculine.
