We just stocked the shop with our newest addition of Middy Bitty Bags, Horizontal Stripes. I’m groovin’ on the fresh, clean, modern look they offer. Nine pretty colors including purple (see below). They just might be my new fave.

We also added purple to some of our Bitty Bag designs in the Middy size; Chevron, Honeycomb and Horizontal Stripe.

“I’ve been so busy but I wanted to email you back and let you know that I did receive the package the day of the event.  We used the packages to make 300 sandwiches for a gallery opening, and the attendees thought it was an art installation and not the actual food!  Amazing.  After a sign was added, they knew it was the event food and it was great to have a high end product all around — instead of generic fry bags.  Love them.”

Our new Little Bitty Bags fall into the category of Tiny Things I Love. Their petite size of 2.75″ x 4″ makes them perfect for small treats, gift cards, business cards or gift tags. Our colorful Diagonal Stripe little bags come in fun 8 colors and coordinate quite nicely with Divine Twine.

A new size Bitty Bag has been added to the shop, Middy Bitty Bags. At 5 x7.5″ they are sized between our Bigger Bitty Bags and our Little Bitty bags. We’re offering 3 designs; Notebook, White Stripes and White Polka Dots. The Notebook bag is a grown up version or Little Bitty Notebook bag (2.75×4″) and the White Stripes and Polka Dots are printed on brown kraft paper. This is the first time we’ve done a bag in brown kraft and I really like the result! At different angles the white looks stronger or more subtle. Like magic… Kind of.

We are introducing several new Bitty Bags in the next couple of days. First up we are so happy to offer Chevron Bitty Bags in 3 new colors, Aqua, Red and Green. These would make dandy wrapping for gift cards this upcoming holiday season. Since they are semi-opaque, you’d want to wrap a plain paper band (copy paper would do) around the card so the recipient can’t catch a sneak peek.

I love packaging. Love. It. When someone takes the time to thoughtfully wrap a gift and add their own creative touch, my heart smiles. Big time.

In the next few weeks we’ll be adding some items to the shop that help make gift wrapping fun and memorable. First up are these cool Metal Framed Tags. They measure 1 5/8″ in diameter; a nice size for gift tags and they accept ink (calligraphy or rubber stamp) and glue (glitter anyone?) very well. They’d also make a fun garland, be cute in a scrapbook layout or add a fun touch to craft projects. What about an advent calendar with these and some Bitty Bags (the creative wheels are spinning!)?

Megan, a lovely customer, recently ordered  Yellow Chevron Bitty Bags, Grape Address Labels and Cotton Candy Pink bakers twine. I don’t know exactly how she’s putting everything together, but I went ahead and tried a few things. It’s the first time I’ve tried the oval labels on the smaller bags. I really like how the label wraps just a little bit around the bag sides and changes the shape a tad. I tried folding the bag flap to the front and to the back. I prefer folded to the back just a tiny bit better, but really, I like them both.

I wouldn’t mind trying Chocolate Covered Wine Grapes!

We have the all-time nicest and most creative customers. Donna ordered some Chick Address Labels and instead of her address she had us typeset her business information (so clever!). I envisioned her packaging her card orders with them, so I went ahead and had some fun with a couple Bitty Bags and some bakers twine to see what I could come up with.

Vanessa, a nice customer, ordered some Bitty Bags and Crown Address Labels for her wedding reception. She was so clever to turn the address labels into favor bag tags. She selected Blossom for the crown color and pink for the bags. So sweet and pretty. Congratulations Vanessa & Ian!

Bitty Bags ~ 2 sizes: bigger & little

I haven’t been blogging much because I’ve been working and working and working and working on filling orders and creating new products for Whisker Graphics. One of the new products is called Bitty Bags. I’m so excited to finally be able to share them with you! (They’ve been in the works for nearly a year! Some day I will share the gory details of why it took so long.)

Though Bitty Bags are food safe, I envisioned using them beyond favor or treat bags (though they work great for that too!). I created them in 2 sizes, bigger 6.25 x 9.25″ and little 2.75 x 4″.

Pink & Chocolate Bitty Bags

The bigger size will hold A7 or A2 envelopes and makes for a nice wrap for stationery sets or an invitation. They will hold a sandwich (wrapped in wax paper and tied with Divine Twine first) to make a nice presentation at a picnic or buffet. And they make cute gift wrapping too.

The little size is so sweet. They are perfect for gift card or gift tag enclosure, loose candy treats and a business card fits just right. I’ve been using them to organize small samples of a different product I’m working on and it makes me smile each time I use one.

They will be available both retail and wholesale; in packs of 20 or in bulk. The first shipment is on its way and I’ve put them up on the website, but they won’t be available to order for a few more days (I want to make sure they arrive safely).
