DIY Advent Calendar Kit

When we posted about our new Kits and Kaboodles, a sweet customer suggested we do an Advent Calendar. Great idea! We designed the kit so the included items can be used for a variety of things. Not just for an advent calendar.

For sugar-free treats, use the included Scrolly Printable to jot down experiences to your kids.

There are 6 PDF Printables included in the kit. 5 date sheets and 1 gift tag/card sheet.

Use the bags for gift wrapping (perfect size for gift cards!) and the Scrolly Printable and Divine Twine for gift tags.

You could also use the Scrolly Printable and Divine Twine to have your little ones create hanging ornaments. The Scrolly border would act a the frame for their works of art.

The Advent Calendar Kit includes 30 Little Bitty Bags, 1 spool of Divine Twine, 5 Date Printables and 1 Scrolly Printable. That’s a whole lot of creating for $20!

Flash Card Calendar ~ On Sale

January 2nd, 2012 § 3 comments § permalink

Happy 2012! To celebrate the new year, the Whisker Graphics Flash Card Calendar is on sale at 30% off. (You can click on the images to make them larger.)

I  had so much fun creating this calendar. It started with the vintage flash card idea, then I packaged it in a Middy Notebook Bitty Bag which has a library card pocket on the outside holding an Occasion Card (to note important dates) and sealed with a bulldog clip (to hang the calendar). There’s even a gold star involved. Each old school package is hand assembled.

I’ve already started enjoying the one hanging in my studio. I stole the August card out of the stack, drew a heart around my wedding anniversary date and put it on my bulletin board. It makes me smile.

Wishing you a 2012 full of good health, prosperity and love.

Whisker Graphics 2011 Calendar

March 9th, 2011 § 5 comments § permalink

I realized I never shared the Whisker Graphics 2011 calendar. This year I went in a completely different direction than 2010. I thought it would be fun to play with patterns.

I designed the calendar with the intention of offering it for sale on the website, but the time to take decent photos and list it never seemed to happen. They did not go to waste though. I tucked them into orders to my wholesale customers as Thank Yous.

Each calendar was packaged in a bag I designed, labeled with a sticker, tied closed with Divine Twine and had a clip attached to hang the calendar from.

The Whisker Graphics 2010 Calendar

September 19th, 2009 § 5 comments § permalink

Last year I designed a 2009 calendar and by the time I had worked out all the design and production details it was too late in the year to sell it. You live, you learn. This year I’ve started much earlier and the Whisker Graphics 2010 Calendar is now available in my etsy shop in the Seasonal section.

It measures 5″x5″ and is printed on nice and thick 110 lb card stock. It comes pre-drilled to easily hang with the silk ribbon I’m including. I did a small run 100 for this year. For a limited time, I’m offering a 25% discount for those early holiday shoppers out there.

Now if only I was this ahead of the game getting MY holiday shopping done!
