I can’t ever seem to have enough tags in my life. I prefer plain tags that I can adorn to fit any occasion. A while back we added Metal Frame Tags to the shop and I still love them, but I have an equal crush on the new Colored Tags we are now stocking. They come in two handy sizes and are made of nice and heavy 13pt card stock. I think my favorite thing about them (besides all the yummy colors) is that the eyelet reinforcement is the same color as the tag. I also really like how the two sizes work well together.
They are offered in sets of 25
Small Tags – $5 (6 colors to choose from) 1 3/8″ x 2 3/4″
Large Tags – $7 (8 colors to choose from) 2 3/8 x 4 3/4″

Large Tags - 8 colors available

I love packaging. Love. It. When someone takes the time to thoughtfully wrap a gift and add their own creative touch, my heart smiles. Big time.
In the next few weeks we’ll be adding some items to the shop that help make gift wrapping fun and memorable. First up are these cool Metal Framed Tags. They measure 1 5/8″ in diameter; a nice size for gift tags and they accept ink (calligraphy or rubber stamp) and glue (glitter anyone?) very well. They’d also make a fun garland, be cute in a scrapbook layout or add a fun touch to craft projects. What about an advent calendar with these and some Bitty Bags (the creative wheels are spinning!)?
A set of 20 for $5 right HERE.

I had a chance this last weekend to do a little designing and I made these holiday gift tags for you. There are 10 tags to a sheet, 2 each of 5 different designs. I decided to use the aqua and red color combo that seems to be popular this season.

It’s been waaaay too long since I’ve done a free download. That pesky thing called work has been keeping me busy. So. For your gift adornment pleasure I present ten 2-inch square gift tags in a variety of designs. Use folded OR trim out just the fronts, punch a hole (or two) and string with twine to make hanging gift tags. Enjoy and tell a friend (everyone could use some free gift tags, right?)

Click HERE to download and please remember these are for personal use only.
Oh! Another idea. Print on full sheet labels, trim out just the fronts and use as sticker or seals.
UPDATE: Thank you to everyone who has left a sweet comment!

I sent a little package to a friend. I used a white sandwich bag with some Lemon and Oyster Divine Twine and my mad calligraphy skills (ha!) on a couple of hang tags.

It’s that magical time of the year when the LOML turns into Baker Bob and bakes up a storm of delicious cookies for the neighbors. He’s in charge of the cookies. I’m in charge of the wrapping. We delivered these boxes (yes, there are cookies inside) to smiling faces Sunday night.

My husband printed some wedding invites a while ago and had some “overs”. They were printed on fabulous feeling, very thick paper and had a fun design on them. I love when something can be upcycled!
Here are the supplies I used.

scrap paper, hole punch, black/white bakers twine, paper punch

bakers twine and various paper punches

Here's what the press sheet looked like after I had my way with it with the paper punches.

Tags after I punched 1/8" holes in the them and threaded with bakers twine.

These tiny guys are my favorite.
Here are a few of the tags in action.

If you don’t have any one-sided scrap paper (say an image from a magazine) you could always run your scrap through a Xyron sticker maker, stick it on a solid piece of paper and then punch it with your paper punch.

Feel free to share the free download love, just leave me a comment if you link to this download.
If you download these, it would be wonderful if you would leave me comment. I’m trying to figure out if I should do more downloads in the future.
Enjoy!
