New Product – Metal Framed Tags

August 3rd, 2011 § 4 comments

I love packaging. Love. It. When someone takes the time to thoughtfully wrap a gift and add their own creative touch, my heart smiles. Big time.

In the next few weeks we’ll be adding some items to the shop that help make gift wrapping fun and memorable. First up are these cool Metal Framed Tags. They measure 1 5/8″ in diameter; a nice size for gift tags and they accept ink (calligraphy or rubber stamp) and glue (glitter anyone?) very well. They’d also make a fun garland, be cute in a scrapbook layout or add a fun touch to craft projects. What about an advent calendar with these and some Bitty Bags (the creative wheels are spinning!)?

A set of 20 for $5 right HERE.

I had a chance this last weekend to do a little designing and I made these holiday gift tags for you. There are 10 tags to a sheet, 2 each of 5 different designs. I decided to use the aqua and red color combo that seems to be popular this season.

Wrapping Christmas Up

December 21st, 2009 § 1 comments

I had a pleasant afternoon last week wrapping some of this year’s Christmas gifts. Between my lifetime supply of wrapping paper, Divine Twine and some labels I had everything covered. It felt like being in grade school during art class. So satisfying.

The Ho Ho Ho labels are home-made. I created them in Illustrator, printed them on full sheet labels then trimmed them down.

Gift Wrapping with Divine Bakers Twine

Playing around a bit (and wrapping a few gifts) with the bakers twine and some stickers.

garland-package-on-kraft-2For the bottom wrap job, I took plain 1″ circular labels, hand-stamped with birds and bees, spaced them out along the Licorice twine and backed them up to each other.
