Shameless Plug + Deal
November 11th, 2009 § 0 comments
I’ve been so busy getting everything ready for the Divine Twine debut I haven’t put anything new in my etsy shop for a while. In the last few days two people contacted me requesting the 3in Scroll Border Editable PDF in red (do I smell holiday gift tags?) so I thought others might have a want for them too. I added them to the shop this morning. You can input whatever text you like in them. So handy.
Shameless Plug Part. 2
A little reminder that the 2010 Whisker Graphics Calendar is on sale (25% off, yea!) + just for blog readers I’ll add another discount. Order 4 calendars – get the 5th FREE ($60 + shipping). That’s a few for your book club friends or bestest pals or maybe an office buddy or two and one for you. If you’re interested email me at whiskergraphics(at)gmail.com.
This concludes our Shameless Plug portion of the show. We now return to our regularly scheduled programming. Thank you.
Gifts ~ Book Plates and Flat Notes

Our new neighbors had a baby. Charlie. I made a little something for him and big sister Molly.
Of course I couldn’t resist using some bakers twine for wrapping.
Chandelier Printables
September 24th, 2009 § 2 comments
Just added some 3″ square editable printable pdfs to the shop. The chandeliers were a request from a customer. I couldn’t decide if I liked one chandelier per tag or more, so I did both.
Woo Hoo! ~ I’ve Been Minted
September 4th, 2009 § 6 comments
Back in July I entered some designs in Minted’s Personal Stationery Challenge. Well, knock me over with a feather! Three of my designs were chosen as Editor’s Picks. Woo Hoo! They are now exclusively available on Minted’s website, along with their other selections. They also offer coordinating address labels.
(Clicking on a photo will take you to it’s page on the Minted site. All photos via Minted.)
The Lovely Package Exchange ~ Partner 2
September 3rd, 2009 § 0 comments
Here are the goodies I sent to my second Lovely Package Exchange partner, Jessica.
I designed some owl stationery and address labels just for her. The tie-dye fabric is an envelope I made from these instructions.
The vintage “J” card is wrapped in the green paper.
Her stationery is in the white package with the bakers twine around it. The red band around the bakers twine package was wrapping from some produce from the grocery store. I loved how it looked, but had a tricky time making it stick to the glassine envelope.
New Materials = Baby Gift

On Tuesday, I went with my sister and niece to Paper Souce in Berkeley. My sister was looking for some envelopes and I was along for the eye candy that Paper Source always delivers. So, what an unexpected treat to find PS’s labels on rolls on big-time sale! There were only a few left and I bought most of them. I had no idea at the time what I’d do with them, but I find it hard to pass up a deal.
Tuesday evening my husband talked to me about needing a baby gift for a client. My mind went right to my new labels. I made some book plates with the rectangular labels.
I also made some coordinating flat notes for Millie Louise (is that the cutest name, or what?).
I gathered my wrapping supplies.
I used the 5″ label to seal the white bag, then tied it all up.
Guest Blog + Free Download

When Cindy, over at Skip to My Lou, contacted me about guest blogging, I thought “How fun!”. Today, our first collaboration is posted and there’s a little something for you. Cindy had this great idea for a PDF. A door hanger that lets the little neighborhood pals know when your kids are available to play.
If you want a more personal door hanger, I just added an editable PDF to the shop. You can personlize it with your child’s name. Is it just me or would this be funny to make and hang on an office door or work cubicle?

A Surprise for Me!
June 12th, 2009 § 1 comments
While I was busy making and packing and mailing Summer Surprise goodies for others, someone was doing the same thing for me! Look what lovely treat arrived in my mailbox yesterday. (click photo to enlarge)
Marcey Stone from Sincerely sent these to me and I LOVE them! I love the design, the colors, the pen, the format (There is something about #10 size flat notes that I have a fondness for.), the everything! I’m going to use them to write my birthday thank you notes.
A huge THANK YOU, Marcey!!! You made my day week month!
