Painted Bitty Bag Favors

June 17th, 2014 § 2 comments § permalink

Hi friends!  Today, I have a delightful project from design team member Landee Anderson to share with you.  Landee made these favor bags for a party that have each of the guest’s initials on them.  She masked off the initial and painted over it then peeled the vinyl off.  The paint gives this project so much dimension and each person is going to feel so special that their bag will have their initial.  You could also use this technique to add the birthday girl/boy’s initial to the bags or a monogram or even numbers for a big birthday or a special anniversary.  Landee even has a free printable on her blog for you if you’d like to recreate these bags!

Bitty Bag Gift Bag and Tag Holder

March 6th, 2014 § 1 comment § permalink

Hi friends!  Today, I have a project from one of our new design team members Thuy Bui.  She’s a crafter and a party planner.  You should check out her blog, she’s amazing!  Today, she created this cute gift bag and tag holder.  This is a darling way to give someone a sweet gift with a gift card and a tag.  You can tuck either a flat gift in the larger bag and a tag in the smaller bag OR put the card in the bigger bag and a gift card in the smaller one.  There are lots of options.  There are a lot of colors in both size Bitty Bags and Solid Divine Twine so you can customize your color combo to suit your occasion or receiver.

This is not your ordinary holiday card. It can act as cheery wall decor or as a mobile. How fun would this be to receive!?

Hanging Holiday Card with reindeer “Vanna White”

It’s super easy to create. Just download our free Printable below and print out using a color printer. I used regular copy paper because that is what I had on hand, but I would recommend cardstock or heavy weight copy paper.

printable uncut

Cut out the rectangles and write your personal message in the blank rectangle. You can decide how many HAPPYs you want. I went with 4.

Printable assembled

Attach Divine Twine (I used Holiday) to the back of each rectangle using Petite Stickys (I used Red Stripes). Use 2 Petite Stickys on the last rectangle to keep it from tilting forward.

Printable back

And ta-da! Your card is ready to mail to friends or family or you use it as decoration at home. If you are mailing it out, it fits nicely in a #10 envelope.

If you download it, leave a comment and let me know. Thanks!

Vanessa, a nice customer, ordered some Bitty Bags and Crown Address Labels for her wedding reception. She was so clever to turn the address labels into favor bag tags. She selected Blossom for the crown color and pink for the bags. So sweet and pretty. Congratulations Vanessa & Ian!

With each order that I ship, I include a little ‘thank you’ which consists of a set of 6 one-inch stickers. Sometimes I send Bird Silhouette stickers and sometimes I send Chicks stickers. Customers would contact me asking if I sold the stickers. I didn’t. That’s all changed now. They are now available in my shop ~ 63 stickers for $4.

Wrapping Christmas Up

December 21st, 2009 § 1 comment § permalink

I had a pleasant afternoon last week wrapping some of this year’s Christmas gifts. Between my lifetime supply of wrapping paper, Divine Twine and some labels I had everything covered. It felt like being in grade school during art class. So satisfying.

The Ho Ho Ho labels are home-made. I created them in Illustrator, printed them on full sheet labels then trimmed them down.
